Sorry about the lack of posts!!

First sorry about the lack of recent posts I have been mega busy!!

A few things I have done!

I have placed an advert on Yell.com advertising the Tiscali Business. This is the first time I have used Yell for ads so I am not sure if It will pay off financially or not, but hey got to take a risk sometimes! The ad has not been cheap but at £235.00 (Including VAT) I will find out!!

Secondly I have started also placing a few adverts on Yahoo Search Marketing so that my ads appear of yahoo.co.uk and other related sites.

Thirdly I have purchase a small domain name to forward my Tiscali tracking urls onto, before it was http://www.tiscali-network.com/twme and still is but now i have purchased www.jointiscali.com and will forward my traffic from there.

Fourthly I have created an information page on Page Rank 10 - www.pagerank10.co.uk which promotes Tiscali , this can be viewed at http://www.pagerank10.co.uk/broadband/tiscali/ I have used pagerank before and was quite pleased with the results. This has cost me £20 for the year!.

So I have been spending but have I increased my customer base! Yes I have.
I now have a total of 27 Customers which is bloody fantastic.

If I dont count the Yellow Pages Advert (£235) because this would not have generated any traffic yet my earnings for the start of my Tiscali empire amount to:

Yahoo Search Marketing Spend: £171.00
MSN Search Marketing Spend: £56.57
www.jointiscali.com Domain Name £9.25
Page Rank 10 Advert £20

Total Outlay = £256.82

Total Customers = 27 = £270

So profit is currently only at £13.18 but I set something up wrong on Yahoo Search Marketing and this cost me £100 - Set your ads up carefully!!! So it should be around £115 profit

I have also realised that it takes a couple of days for the customers to appear live in your account so i hoping I still have a few customers to be added!!!! ( I Hope!!!, but to be honest I am in this for the long hall so if i do loose a little bit of money now - i can live with that I just will keep twicking my adverts until they are perfect!)
