I have been paid by Tiscali

I am amazed. Little more than 2 weeks after joining I have received my first ever payment from Tiscali. f promoting them as a business associate.

My First Payment is for £120.

I have not even received my advertising bills yet!!

Sorry about the lack of posts!!

First sorry about the lack of recent posts I have been mega busy!!

A few things I have done!

I have placed an advert on Yell.com advertising the Tiscali Business. This is the first time I have used Yell for ads so I am not sure if It will pay off financially or not, but hey got to take a risk sometimes! The ad has not been cheap but at £235.00 (Including VAT) I will find out!!

Secondly I have started also placing a few adverts on Yahoo Search Marketing so that my ads appear of yahoo.co.uk and other related sites.

Thirdly I have purchase a small domain name to forward my Tiscali tracking urls onto, before it was http://www.tiscali-network.com/twme and still is but now i have purchased www.jointiscali.com and will forward my traffic from there.

Fourthly I have created an information page on Page Rank 10 - www.pagerank10.co.uk which promotes Tiscali , this can be viewed at http://www.pagerank10.co.uk/broadband/tiscali/ I have used pagerank before and was quite pleased with the results. This has cost me £20 for the year!.

So I have been spending but have I increased my customer base! Yes I have.
I now have a total of 27 Customers which is bloody fantastic.

If I dont count the Yellow Pages Advert (£235) because this would not have generated any traffic yet my earnings for the start of my Tiscali empire amount to:

Yahoo Search Marketing Spend: £171.00
MSN Search Marketing Spend: £56.57
www.jointiscali.com Domain Name £9.25
Page Rank 10 Advert £20

Total Outlay = £256.82

Total Customers = 27 = £270

So profit is currently only at £13.18 but I set something up wrong on Yahoo Search Marketing and this cost me £100 - Set your ads up carefully!!! So it should be around £115 profit

I have also realised that it takes a couple of days for the customers to appear live in your account so i hoping I still have a few customers to be added!!!! ( I Hope!!!, but to be honest I am in this for the long hall so if i do loose a little bit of money now - i can live with that I just will keep twicking my adverts until they are perfect!)

Tiscali Phone Call

Remember a few days ago I posted about the person who rang me saying I was part of there team, well his team leader rang me today and helped on a few queries I already had.

It seems like these people are here to help me, people helping me make money, keep it coming guys!!

He also gave me information about earning residual income. Residual Income is ways of earning money on a regular monthly basis without doing any additional work.

If I get (Let me re phase that - when i get!) 33 customers I will start to earn a small percentage of there bill every month while they stay a customer with Tiscali. It works out at 0.75% per customer per month! Does not sould a lot but think about it I am already getting £10 for each product the customer takes, so If a sign a customer up tp 3 products I will recieve an intial £30 plus 22p per month. Image if I can get 500 customers like this = paying me £110 per month and im not doing anything! :-)

I have been web marketing now for quite a while (my main site is www.twme.co.uk) but i must admit i have never been so excited about checking me web stats as I am with Tiscali at the moment.

I now have a total of 7 products sold to 4 customers = £70!

This is all from my ads on MSN search which has so far cost me a total of £12.45

Yay My First Customer

Hooray!

After promoting Tiscali for little more than 2 days I have gained my first customer!

It does work!!! The customer has taken: ST Anytime Talk II Bundle, which i think is broadband and home phone, but quite frankly i could not give a damn because it has earnt me £20!!

My First Tiscali Adverts

Today I added my first Tiscali adverts onto the MSN ad network.

The MSN Ad Centre lets you advertise on keywords from which people are searching on through the microsoft network ie www.msn.co.uk and www.live.com

I have started by only bidding the minimum for each keyword i have carefully selected so will wait and see what happens!!

What a Response!

Remember I joined Tiscali yesterday as a business associate and I have just recieved a telephone call from the person who I joined through.

He basically wanted to know what i do and welcome me to the team.

Tiscali works by promoting the Tiscali products but also if you get other people to promote Tiscali you also earn additional money, hence the interest from this guy.

Anyway to cut a long story short, this phone call has insipired me to get a move on and get promoting Tiscali.

Hello People

I plan to keep a record here of my success with promoting Tiscali through both online and offline.

Tiscali are one of the UKs Leading Broadband, Phone and Digital TV providers.

Today (12th January 2008) I have joined for free as a business associate.

Basically I want to earn an extra income promoting Tiscali through a number of ways.

Each time a customer takes a product I get paid £10 for my trouble!
